Hi, I am Gürcan, a visual Storyteller and passionate Film Editor with a keen eye for aesthetics born 1984 in southern Germany and raised in Istanbul, where life led me first into music, before I find my Need in Film. 

 

Over my 14-year career I’ve had the privilege to be part of remarkable projects including nominated pictures at prestigious Festivals and award-winning works. One of my strength is the combination of, having a diverse range of experience across different genres with, a big ambition to dig deep and bring out the beauty of every frame.

My passion in the art of editing has provided me a special understanding of post-production process which effects positively my judgement for time estimation, especially in communication with all departments.

 

However, what truly matters to me is the ability to evoke emotions and connect with the audience.
